The UPSSSC (Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission) has issued a job advertisement for the position of UP VDO (Village Development Officer) or (Gram Vikas Adhikari), VPO (Gram Panchayat Adhikari), and SWP (Samaj Kalyan Pryvekshk or Social Welfare Supervisor), and these exams are conducted by the UPSSSC. To be eligible for this UP VDO and Other Post recruitment, candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 40, and have passed the intermediate examination or any examination recognised as equal thereto. Essential Educational Qualifications:

(A) Gram Panchayat Adhikari (Village Panchayat Officer)

(a) Passed the Intermediate Examination of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education or any examination recognised as equal thereto.

(b) NIELIT-provided CCC Certificate in Computer (earlier DOEACC Institution).

(B) Gram Vikas Adhikari (Village Development Officer)

(a) Passed the Intermediate Examination of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education or any examination recognised as equal thereto.

(b) CCC certificate qualification in computer operator.

(C) Samaj Kalyan Pryvekshk (Social Welfare Supervisor)

(a) Passed the Intermediate Examination of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education or any examination recognised as equal thereto.

(b) Qualification of CCC certificate in computer operation.

Preferential Qualifications

(i) Have served in the Territorial Army for at least two years, or

(ii) have received a \"B\" certificate from the National Cadet Corps.

Age limit (as on 01-07-2018):

The age limit of the applicants should be between 18 years to 40 years.

The permitted upper age limit relaxations are as follows:
